Raag Kirwani
Raag Kirwani has been adopted into the Hindustani classical music system from the Carnatic tradition. Before the 11th century, India had a unified classical music tradition. However, following the 11th century due to Turkic and Mughal invasions, and Persian influence on the arts and culture of North India, Indian classical music evolved into two distinct streams: Hindustani (North Indian) and Carnatic.
